Due to the FIRST MINISTERS ANNOUNCEMENT earlier this week and the rapidly rising number of Covid cases, the MBPJ have taken the difficult decision to reschedule both of the indoor activity sessions planned for this Saturday. I understand this will be a disappointment for all the MBPJ participants and also for the artists/creators. Be assured we will reschedule the sessions for February, though with a different theme! Wishing you all a lovely Christmas!
Want to get Festive & Creative with Clay? Well here’s your perfect opportunity to make an Xmas decoration which you will be able to take home and then when its dry, you can paint and decorate them ready for Christmas and pride of place.
You will be guided by the very skilled potter Jenny Ebdy at her studio in Kingston. You will be working with a special air dried clay which doesn’t need firing and means you can take it home with following the session.
Please remember to wear an old shirt or an apron or clothes you don’t mind getting messy, as clay can be very messy!
The cost of this session has been significantly discounted for MBPJ participants, there are a maximum of 9 places, so make sure you book your place before they’re gone.
For younger participants, can a parent/guardian/carer please accompany/support them.
Depending upon interest we would love to run further pottery sessions early next year.
Hello All – We have just learnt about the ‘Calendar Error‘ message which was showing up on this website, due to this we have decided to postpone this Xmas Pottery session to next weekend, the 18th Dec, to give people the opportunity to book their place.
You’ll be so close to the sea, it could be a great opportunity to take a walk on the pebbles next to the sea, discover some of the old WW2 gun in-placements, or spot seals… with your parents/guardian/carer before or after your pottery session…… and get another activity ticked off?
